My kids and I simply adore dried fruit (especially bananas) so when I was given the opportunity to give Peeled Snacks a try I jumped on it for the sake of the children…yea that’s right the children 😉
A little about Peeled Snacks:
Peeled snacks are great individuals and families that are on the go and make for a great snack to take to work or send with your kids to school in their lunch box. Aside from being organic, Peeled Snacks are made from all natural ingredients, packed with vitamins, minerals, iron and fiber with no sugar added. As they state on their website:
Our goal at Peeled Snacks is simple: to make you feel good about snacking. We strive to bring you the highest quality organic and natural ingredients from sustainable farms.
My kids simply devoured these snacks, which I did not mind at all, they get a single serving of fruit in one pouch! The samples I was provided came from their Organic Fruit Picks variety pack and included:
Pine-4-pineapple, Cherry-go-round, Much-ado-about-mango,
Apple-2-the-core, Apricot-a-lot & Banan-a-peel
My daughter was crazy for the mango and my son tried a piece of the Cherry and then proceeded to take the pack so I can only assume he liked it as much as I did. While they all are really great tasting, I found myself drawn to the Apricot and the Pineapple which tasted like candy! Unlike regular dried fruit they were not dry and crunchy. All-in-all I highly recommend Peeled Snacks. They can be found at Whole Foods, Peeled Snacks Organic Fruit Picks Variety Pack“>Amazon.com and now Starbucks!
