Tiny Home: Big Living in Tiny Packages #tinyhouse

Ah 2015 the year of the move for the Whitehead family…fingers crossed. In our search looking for a home and a builder I have seen a huge influx of posts and conversation about tiny home living. People (single people, couples and families alike) building these amazing looking homes in small packages and I can only suspect smaller financial burdens. Here are some pretty awesome Tiny Homes that I have found:

You can actually see a virtual tour of this home here:

If I knew how to swim this would be amazing! (yea I know…what?!? You don’t know how to swim?)

This beauty is made by a company called WheelHaus. You can even go on their website and create your own custom home.

I know some may look at the price and think No Way! (raises hand) Looking at the chic interior I can definitely see the appeal.

The tiny home movement has even sparked a show on HGTV (of course). The show Tiny House, Big Living and Tiny House Hunters (really?). If you have your own tiny home, first email me and send pictures I would love to show them off to my readers. Alternatively, looks like HGTV may also be looking for people to cast in one of their shows. You can fill out the form here: http://thbl.orionentertainment.com/

So I want to know your thoughts? Could you do tiny home living?

You do seem to see these popping up all over lately! I really think they are awesome ideas and very luxe at that! I think, if I were single, or maybe even without children, I’d have an interest in looking into how do-able they are.. For now, I’ll just look and ohhhh and aaahhh 🙂

I have seen these in shows and love it. My family spends so much time outdoors that we just want a place to eat, shower and sleep so this would be perfect. You would be surprised just how much room is on the inside, we have a small cabin that is similar and it has plenty of room in it.

Such and interesting concept, I think I could do tiny homes if it was just me, but with a hubby it would probably get crowded, and he is a collectors of stuff..lol, but I love how they streamline and get everything every inch usable for living.

Tiny homes are so interesting to me! If it’s built right and seems roomier than it is, I think it’d be fun to live in one!
