So for the past few years I have been stalking the internet for anything and everything abandoned! I think aside from theme parks, cities rank pretty high on my list of amazing abandoned places to look at and learn the history of, here is a list of my 5 favorites.

Artist Shows Life After Disney That is Haunting and Amazing

This is something I have always wondered with places like Disney World and Universal Studios what would they look like abandoned. Through the power of Social media this was in my Facebook feed. The DeviantArt artist that goes by eledoremassis02 shows how abandoned Disney would look and it is creepy and beautiful.

Abandoned America - Florida Grain Depot (Pictures)

The funniest part about the grain depot is we tried to figure out where it was a few months back but didnt realize it was on a road we traveled SO many times! Here are the shots we got. Saw a set of stairs that led to underneath the dept but it was flooded so we weren’t able to plus the stairs did not look stable

Florida Business Left Abandoned

Yet another roadside find off of a busy stretch of highway here in Florida. Not exactly sure what the building used to be. My husband passed by it many times thinking it was an abandoned firestation but closer inspection it was not. There was a small deck area in back with a huge outdoor grill and second smaller brick house. One room had a ton of broken holiday decorations

A place I relished going to as a child. The time before iPads and Kindles the library was the place to be. Even though I now have a Kindle (that I love dearly) I still cannot shake the fun I get from going to the library and holding an actual book in my hands and smelling the paper (gotta love that new and old book smell there is nothing like
