The Candlelight Processional is the celebrity guest narrator retelling of the Christmas story accompanied by a 50 piece orchestra and choir. If you are looking a music-filled night to get into the holiday spirit, then this show is one you do not want to miss.
We had never been to the Candle Light Processional at Epcot: Holidays Around the World so when we received the chance to go this year I was excited, especially when I saw the lineup of the narrators for 2016.
- November 25-27: Steven Curtis Chapman
- November 28-December 1: Neil Patrick Harris
- December 2-3: Whoopi Goldberg
- December 4-6: Edward James Olmos
- December 10-12: Robby Benson
- December 13-15: Meredith Vieira
- December 16-18: Jim Caviezel
- December 19-21: Joe Morton
- December 22-24: Ming-Na Wen
- December 25-27: Jodi Benson
- December 28-30: Cal Ripken Jr.
We choose to go on the day that Whoopie Goldberg was the narrator as HUGE fans how could we pass this chance to see her in real life.
How to Attend?
The Candlelight Processional comes with regular theme park admission so you would not need to purchase an additional ticket to enjoy the event. You can get seating by purchasing the dining package:
“Candlelight Dining Packages are available for lunch and/or dinner and include a 3-course meal or full buffet, depending on the location. Simply choose your restaurant, relish in a sumptuous feast and then take your reserved seat—as you absorb all the sights and sounds of this joy-filled family tradition!
You can reserve your Candlelight Dining Package by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.”
Apart from that, seating first come, first serve, so you will want to make sure you get there at least 30 minutes before the show starting (standing in line does not guarantee a seat). When we were there the line was pretty long.
