Fellowes Air Purifier – AP300PH Review

I have suffered from allergies ever since I was little. I have some days where the kids will continue to open the door to go in and out of the house while playing and it is murder on my poor nose. Some days I can barely step outside without feeling my nose start to itch. I was happy to see the Fellowes Air Purifier come just days after my sister-in-law left. She has a golden retriever puppy that leaves us vacuuming up hair for at least a week after she leaves and me in my own little hell for that entire week as well.
It had crossed our mind prior to us moving into our new home but we settled for just using allergen air filter but while they helped I wanted and needed more, especially after I began to notice my son is starting to show signs of having allergies. I had begun doing the research on the best air purifier for our needs when I was given the opportunity to review the Fellowes Air Purifier – AP300PH.

When it arrived the big task was figuring out where we would place it. The only place that made sense was the living room, since it is the main meeting area for our family.

Some of the features we have come to love about the Fellowes Air Purifier – AP300PH:

  • PlasmaTrue™ Technology removes airborne pollutants and gets air cleaner at the molecular level, instantly neutralizing viruses and germs in the air

Love this feature since my son has started kindergarten. As my mom reminded me that when we went to school she made us change our clothes before anything else. I think I began stocking up on hand sanitizers and disinfectant sprays when my son hopped out of the car and his little friend who was just wiping his nose and gave my little guy a high-five! It seemed to happen in slow motion for me lol. So if I can have a purifier that will help keep the family healthy and germ free than that is a major bonus.

  • True HEPA Filter safely removes 99.97% of particles and impurities as small as 0.3 microns, including mold spores, pollen, dust mites, allergens, cigarette smoke, pet dander and odors.

We have two furry family members a chihuahua and a Yorkie-Pin. While our Chihuahua manages to stay clean for the most part, our baby Tinkerbell (Yorkie-Pin) loves getting dirty and rolling in the wild flowers we have growing in the back corner of our yard. We don’t let anyone to smoke in our house so I cannot say much for that but the puppy smell is gone which is nice.

  • Air purifier includes an air purity sensor that monitors the air quality and automatically adjusts the fan speed to keep your air cleaner.

The kids always make sure to mention when the sensor is in the red. I like that I do not have to keep adjusting the fan to ensure air quality.

One of the concerns I had when pluggin the purifier is the noise, but you would never know it was one which is nice. You notice some noise when the fan is on high but other than that it is quiet.
