Kid Size Fruit | My Kids Love Lil Snappers Fruits!

Thankfully when it comes to having a quick snack time in my home, my kids generally tend to reach for the good stuff fruit or a yogurt. So when I found out that I had the opportunity to try Lil Snappers I was excited to try and learn more about these kid size fruits. I was even more excited the day they arrived and while they are not tiny they are definitely geared to little hands being able to hold them easily and not worry about dropping them.

For my review I was provided with Pink Lady Apples, Minneola, Mandarines and Cara Cara. While they are all delicious my favorites were the Mandarines I grab and peel a few and add them to my salad or my and kids grab 1-2 before we head out the door running errands or running my 5 year old to school. My kids favorite…and not to mention also the first ones to go was the Pink lady Apples and I could taste why when i was finally able to nab one before the kids could devour it. They are not just sweet but they are nice and crisp and taste great once chilled in the refrigerator for a bit.

See told you…the apples were the first to go, my poor husband was not even able to try one but i promised to buy more for us to enjoy.

Behind Lil Snapper

In 2011, Stemilt Growers introduced Lil Snappers to grocery stores everywhere so that kids could enjoy their favorite apple and pear varieties in a size grown just for them. The following year, Sunkist Growers joined in on the fun and started including citrus, another kid favorite, in Lil Snappers packages. Stemilt and Sunkist share a lot of the same company values. Not only have they been growing great fruits for generations, but they both do so by taking care of the land. Stemilt is a family-owned and operated company based in Wenatchee, Washington that grows, packs, ships, and markets fresh apples, pears, cherries, and stone fruits. Sunkist is a marketing cooperative entirely owned and run by California and Arizona citrus farmers since 1893.

Together, Stemilt and Sunkist are proud to produce the highest quality apples, pears, and citrus varieties for Lil Snappers. From our farms to your table, we hope you enjoy the flavor and nutrition in our Lil Snappers kid-sized fruit bags.

What I love the most about Lil Snappers is that aside from them coming with their own bags, they are small enough to fit snug inside a lunch box ready to be eaten. There are over 20 varities of Lil Snapper available and can is currently available in Louisiana (New Orleans), Florida (Jacksonville) and North Carolina at the following locations:

    • Rouse’s
    • Publix
    • Ingles Super Markets
    • Harris Teeter Super Markets
    • Winn Dixie Stores
    • C&S Wholesale Groceries

I am hoping to see them in a store near me so that i can keep my promise to my husband and give him the chance to try the Pink Lady Apples even while he devours all of the citrus fruits.

If you are able to get your hands on Lil Snappers near you here is a fun Summer Snack Time recipe using Lil Snappers fruits:
