It’s so hard to find fun places to take the kids for Halloween that does not leave them with nightmares. My two handle Halloween fairly well, but we have run into residential houses that are too scary for kids.
So when we got the chance to take the kids to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party I knew the kids and my husband and I would have a blast. It was our first time going, and we were not disappointed, and we have a new family tradition.
Here are the highlights from our visit!
I think the kids both agreed that their favorite part of the night was all of the candy! Disney knows where it is at when it comes to candy and the way they have it set up inside some of the closed attractions keeps things pleasant and stress-free.
The “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” and “HalloWishes,” happens twice during the night so make plans to go to some rides or grab a bite to eat on the way back.
*Disney Tip Alert* Be sure to get there at least 15 min or more early so you can get a good seat.
The Sanderson Sisters are back!
For me, this made my entire night! I mean come on it’s Hocus Pocus!
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show brings together Disney Villains and the mischievous sisters to cast a spell over the Magic Kingdom three times each party night.”
The best part of the party is trick or treating in the park. From land to land, get your fill of candies, treats, snacks and more—including allergy-free options galore. Look for the pumpkin Mickey’s on the map and it will lead you to your treats! Now they do say that they offer allergy-free options but I am not sure what the process would be so I would definitely check with a cast member.
