PowerPuff Girls Coding for Kids!

One thing that I have always worked on is learning to code. It has been a fight over time and new skills, but I am learning. Today, our little ones have such and advantage. Growing up in a world of technology, they learn to cope with so many changes on a weekly basis.

My little ones have their own tablets, not the expensive Apple Tablet, but some RCAs. I can not see spending more than $100 on something that I have to worry about my 6 now 7-year-old daughter dropping on the floor and busting. She has had it over a year now and loves it!

We keep a close watch on what they are doing on their tablets and do not let them use apps that we find inappropriate and so on, but it has turned out to be a great learning device.

The reason I bring this up is because I now am seeing child programs that are moving toward educating kids on things like coding. This is a great step to the future for our little ones. Let’s face it, we are always going to need someone to build the software that will run our future metros and spaceports right! 🙂

Cartoon Network has launched an awesome program for kids to start coding. It is basic and keeps the little ones interested. My kids are learning to code and what they can do by this site. I can not wait to see what they will create!

Take a look at what they are working with. Here is a short video of the process! 🙂

I can not wait to see what all the little ones are doing with their flying folks! Happy Coding everyone! 🙂
