As a blogger I am always looking for ways to get my information out and learn how to use the tools (like social media) I have at my disposal. One thing I have heard quite a bit about from other bloggers is that going to various conferences will provide great tips, tools and information you may not have heard of before when connecting with readers as well as brands. I am so excited to be attending my first conference and meet bloggers, brands and those interested in all things social media has to offer at the Social Fresh East 2013 Social media Conference. While I feel like I have come a long way as a blogger I know there is so much more that I can and want to learn from a conference such as this.
About Social Fresh East 2013
I have to say that I am beyond anxious to attend this conference as it will be my very first conference. However, I have heard from other bloggers that attend conferences 2-3 times a year so while I cannot speak for how this is truly different from those. If you have attended a conference then you should know some of the key differences with the Social Fresh 2013 Social Media Conference:
- Get insight and tips through expert created content and from the experts themselves through short and concise 30-minute sessions.
- You can see all of the speakers in one place to ensure you do not miss a thing or have to travel room to room which is one thing I had heard about the other conferences you have to go to different conference rooms to listen to the speakers.
- Continued learning even after the conference has ended to provided through a Facebook group. This gives those that attended to share what they learned.
After watching the video about the conference and listening to a multitude of testimonials I am becoming more and more excited to have this amazing chance to go to this social media event. I was overwhelmed looking at the list of influential speakers that will be attending and sharing their knowledge with me and many others also attending. Some of the speakers that I am looking forward to hearing from includes:
Kevin Vine – Interactive marketing manager of Dunkin Donuts
Ted Rubin- Chief Social Marketing Officer of Collective Bias (Really excited about this since I have worked with Collective Bias on a number of amazing campaigns)
Of course I look forward to seeing Jason Keath the Founder and CEO of Social Fresh
So be sure to join me and others at the Social Fresh Conference in April at the beautiful Doubletree by Hilton Hotel
