Ahoy Mateys Happy National Rum Month! A first for Tampa, FL is the Summer of Rum Festival being held August 24th in downtown Tampa and I have two general admission tickets to give away!
Summer of Rum 2013
Last year my husband and I had a blast at the Margarita Festival (another first for the Tampa Bay Area) and thousands of other people there would agree that the great music and great food at the event is something that made the festival one to remember. The Summer of Rum Festival is one that will be remembered as well as other Bay Area favorites like Guavaween and Gaspirilla. Much like the Margarita Festival you will have two ticket options to choose from:
General Admission This will give you the opportunity to experience Summer of Rum with a chance to re-enter for the duration of the festival. You will enjoy live entertainment on the main stage, rum zones, rum shacks and so much more. Drinks are $5.
Endless Cup The endless cup will give you ENDLESS chances to try all the rum drinks at the various Rum Zones (food, water and beer sold separately). Rum Zones include:
Cruzan Daiquiri Deck
The Naked Turtle
The Appleton Rum Shacks
….and much more.
These tickets also include GA admissions with all-day re-entry access, swag bags and 16-oz commemorative Summer of Rum hurricane glasses for enjoying unlimited refills of refreshing drinks!
Do not think this festival is all about drinking. The Summer of Rum is giving proceeds to My Hope Chest.
About My Hope Chest:
My Hope Chest is the ONLY national non-profit funding Breast Reconstruction surgery for “uninsured” breast cancer survivors…Our services pick up where others leave off providing the “final step in breast cancer treatment”.
The purpose of My Hope Chest is to help restore self-esteem and dignity to breast cancer survivors by facilitating and funding, as needed, reconstructive surgery for those who do not have adequate financial means to afford such surgery. To have affiliates in every state serving every person that desires breast reconstruction. To raise public awareness for this need, not only nationally but worldwide. To educate within the school system the importance of self-exam from an early age.
Drink, Have Fun for A Good Cause and Stay Safe!
