Visiting The California Dream

California truly is an amazing state to visit and I am not just saying that because it is my home state!  Known as one of the sunshine states, and home to a lot of the rich and famous movie actors over there, it attracts millions of people each year. Go at the right time of year and you’ll have fun and sun in abundance. There is literally so much to do there as well. It doesn’t matter whether you’re going solo, with a partner, or with a family, you’ll never be bored or struggling to find something to do. It is such a vast and amazing state that we know you’re going to love. If you’re considering traveling there, here’s a few things that you can enjoy whilst you’re there.

Beaches

If you’re going to California then you need to head to the beach. After a long day of doing other touristy things, you’re going to need a way to relax and let your hair down. A California beach is the perfect place to do this Vast beautiful white sands full of people having a good time. The atmosphere is always so relaxed, and you’ll find the people are just so friendly. You don’t just have to sit back and take in the rays either. There’s plenty to do in terms of watersports. This will be particularly good if you’re going with the family. Try your hand at jet skiing or waterboarding and you’ll have so much fun. California is also known for its surf, it attracts hundreds of professionals each year. If you’re willing to give it a go, you’ll have the time of your life.

Accommodation

Some of the accommodation in California is amazing. Depending on which part of the state you’re staying in determines how much you’re going to pay. If you’re right on the beach you’ll most likely be paying a lot more. Especially if your plan is to rent a beach house or something similar. But a lot of people don’t like the self-catered lifestyle. They’re heading on holiday to be waited on. In this case, a hotel is going to be the one for you. There are beautiful ones dotted all around the state. But one we know you’re going to love is the Best Western Plus Humboldt Bay Inn. It is close to amenities and there’s plenty of things to do around it. If you’re traveling with a family then the accommodation is obviously a very important factor for you. A lot of them have plenty for them to do such as pools or kids clubs. You’ll never have to worry about your children being bored when you come to this incredible state.

Theme Parks

The theme parks are another thing a lot of people head to California for. You might always associate Disneyland with Florida, but did you know California also has its own!? Probably not. It is just as big and just as magical as the other. We know your children are going to love it if you take them there. There are a few other smaller theme parks as well if you’re still looking for a thrill.
